A US expert in orthokeratology will share his extensive clinical and practical knowledge in a free interactive webinar in September.
Contact Lens Centre Australia is inviting optometrists to take part in the webinar with Ken Kopp, director of clinical and professional services at Paragon Vision Sciences, on 30 September at 7:00 am Eastern Standard Time.
Titled ‘What to do when…?’, the webinar will provide practical advice on how to optimise long-term success for ortho-K patients.
The 45-minute webinar will teach practitioners how to address spherical and/or cylindrical under-treatment; treat lens decentration; identify and correct corneal staining and handle CRT patient compliance issues.
Graham Lehman from Contact Lens Centre Australia says Ken Kopp will give optometrists the knowledge and understanding to deal with some of the unanticipated consequences of fitting ortho-K lenses.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask Mr Kopp clinical questions at the conclusion of the webinar.
‘They will be successfully fitting more patients and building clinical excellence and profitability into their practice,’ Mr Lehman said.
To register, contact Graham Lehman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
‘We will email all the details needed closer to the date. All you have to do on the day is be in front of your computer, and have speakers and a microphone,’ Mr Lehman said.
Practitioners interested in understanding the basics of fitting the Paragon CRT lens before attending the webinar can complete the online certification course via Practitioner CRT Certification and Resources.
