Intensive workshops designed around demographic groups and more than 30 speakers are set to make the International Cornea and Contact Lens Congress shine.

ICCLC 2017, with the theme ‘See the Light’, will be held in Sydney on 8-10 September. Up to 48.5 CPD points (20.5 therapeutic) are available.

The workshops encompass orthokeratology, advanced contact lens prescribing, triage of keratoconus and corneal ectasia patients, OCT analysis and interpretation for anterior eye and speciality contact lenses, and dry eye management.

The program, presented by Australian and New Zealand contact lens practitioners, will include topics ranging from myopia management and new developments in anterior eye surgery, to therapeutic challenges of contact lens practice and new knowledge in dry eye drawn from DEWS 2.

John Mountford will be presented with the Kenneth W Bell medal and deliver the eponymous lecture.

Early registration is now open and closes on 30 June. Early registrants will be eligible to go into a draw to have lunch with a guest speaker.

ICCLC 2017 is hosted by the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia, of which Damien Fisher is president.
