Our own Optometry Australia practice standards can be used by optometrists as a reference on best practice patient care with respect to practice processes and system. This resource covers practice design, staff, equipment, hygiene, OH&S requirements and more.
Private Health insurance
Health Insurance Consultants Australia (HICA
) provides optometrists and their patients with a no-cost, obligation-free health insurance assessment. HICA refers only to health funds that pay the same rebate whichever practice the patient chooses to attend - great for optometrists to ensure patients get the right advice.
