Coupons

20.   Only coupons carrying an official Optometry Australia coupon code will be eligible for use to purchase product on
Optometry Australia’s Online Store (“Online Store”). An official coupon code is that code created by
Optometry Australia and not by any other organisation. Each coupon carries its own non-transferrable terms and
conditions which must be met when redeeming the coupon. A coupon cannot be used to pay for postage
       and handling.

The value of the coupon equals the dollar value or discount percentage that is clearly specified on each coupon.
When redeeming a coupon via the Online Store, the coupon code must be entered into the coupon field at
check-out. Once entered, the coupon’s value will be automatically deducted from the cost of the item
       purchased. Where:

      (a)    The value of the coupon is lower than the cost of the item, then the redeemer of the coupon
(“the redeemer”) will be required to pay the gap before a purchase will be finalised for shipping
eg. if the coupon is valued at $100 and the purchase, is $150, the redeemer will be required to pay $50,
plus any postage, before the sale is finalised.

      (b)    The value of a one-use only coupon is higher than the cost of the purchase, the redeemer will forfeit the
remainder value eg. if the coupon is valued at $100 and the purchase, is $80, the redeemer will be required
to also pay for postage and then forfeit $20 in coupon value.

Optometry Australia will not be held responsible for:

      (a)    The failure by the redeemer to enter the coupon code at the Online Store check-out resulting in the
redeemer paying full price for a product.

      (b)    A coupon that is lost.

      (c)    A coupon that is not claimed within the timeframe specified on the coupon. Coupons not claimed within
the specified timeframe will become null and void. Extensions may be granted if the recipient of the coupon
contacts Optometry Australia within one week of the coupon’s expiration. An extension will only be granted
              once on a coupon.

      (d)    The redeemer unable to find product on the Online Store that they deem suitable for their needs.

Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or services not available for purchase via the Online Store.
