Student rates for CPD events at regional conferences

CPD at our great state conferences in 2015

Each state Division of Optometry Australia hosts a major conference each year, with high-quality education, trade exhibitions and social events. To encourage students to attend these events, the Divisions offer free or reduced-cost entry to optometry students, allowing them to learn, network and get a taste of their future career.

 

Optometry New South Wales/ACT

Super Sunday

May 24 2015, Sydney NSW. Optometry NSW/ACT offers discounted conference registration for optometry students.

Optometry Victoria

Southern Regional Congress 

21-23 February 2015, Melbourne VIC.  Optometry Victoria allows students who register for its Career Expo at SRC to attend the main conference as a student delegate at no cost.

 

Optometry QLD/NT

Australian Vision Convention

10-12 April 2015, Gold Coast QLD. Optometry QLD/NT grants optometry students complimentary registration to the Australian Vision Convention. Students can also attend all other accredited Optometry QLD/NT CPD functions free of charge.

North Queensland Vision

Optometry WA

Western Australia Vision Education

7-9 August 2015, Perth WA. Interstate optometry students enjoy free registration at WAVE. Optometry WA also hosts monthly education evenings to help its members meet their AHPRA requirements. These events are free of charge and interstate optometry students are welcome to attend.

 

Optometry SA

SA Blue Sky Congress

20-21 November 2015, Adelaide SA. Optometry students in the final two years of study can attend Optometry South Australia’s SA Blue Sky event at a reduced rate.

 

Optometry Tasmania

Tasmania’s Lifestyle Congress

28-30 August 2015, Hobart TAS. Optometry Tasmania offers students a reduced registration fee of $75 for Tasmania’s Lifestyle Congress.
