ABOUT TLC

Tasmanian Lifestyle Congress (TLC) provides Optometrists a unique educational experience in beautiful Hobart. This year, there will be an extensive program of high quality speakers including Alex Hewitt, Jack Phu, Kristin Bell and Joshua Clark.

For the first time, Optometry Tasmania will host a grand rounds session to showcase interesting cases from colleagues. Presentations will be chosen from the submitted abstracts, based on the quality of clinical findings, management and discussion.

A social function on Saturday evening at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania provides an opportunity for you to enjoy good conversation and the best of Tasmanian produce, overlooking the picturesque River Derwent.

The conference includes an extensive trade expo operating next to the educational sessions. This is an opportunity to meet with trade exhibitors and get acquainted with the latest innovations in optometry. The free CooperVision Breakfast is once again being held on Sunday morning.

The conference venue is the Wrest point Hotel situated on the Sandy Bay waterfront and features some of the best views in the city. The Wrest Point is located a short taxi ride to Salamanca Place, Battery Point, Hobart CBD and the Brook Street Pier for ferries to various water and wilderness tours.

More information about the program will be available soon.
