Invitation to attend Myopia Seminar with Tim Fricke

Geelong, Monday April 29 at 6pm

Myopia has been a long-established bread and butter condition for optometry, but radical shifts in epidemiology are driving individual demands and public health needs for more proactive management.

Are there ways to adjust modern life to avoid myopia? Are we part of the cause of the ‘myopia epidemic’? Are there ways we can control myopia development in our patients?

Through this seminar, guest presenter Tim Fricke will review the evidence and open discussion regarding trends in myopia epidemiology and pathological consequences, and the range of myopia management options.

Participants will receive 6T CPD points (with assessment). A light meal and drinks included.

Registration for the seminar is essential. Book online through the member portal or contact Optometry Victoria on or call (03) 9652 9100.

Date:     Monday 29 April

Time:     6:00pm – 8:30pm
