Board of Directors
Everything we do is directed by our board, all of who are practising optometrists and are appointed by our members. Our board represents the diversity of our membership and you can be sure that someone sitting around the decision-making table has a pretty good idea of what it is like to stand in your shoes, regardless of where you practise or how long you have been an optometrist.
Between them they have experience in metro and rural practice, remote and Indigenous care, teaching, business-ownership as well as having been employee optometrists or franchisees. What they all have in common is a shared passion and vision for our profession.
The board also has the support of a number of carefully appointed member committees, in addition to our team of dedicated and skilled staff at Optometry South Australia and Optometry Australia, ensuring we remain the influential voice of optometry here in South Australia.
You can contact any director at any time to discuss Optometry South Australia business by emailing our office who will happily forward your query to the most appropriate board member.
