Over recent months, we have launched three powerful documents, outlining our key asks of the Commonwealth and highlighting that our health system is letting down Australians because of the lack of access to timely diagnosis and treatment of eye disease.

Combined, our Working Together for Better Eye Care policy platform2022-2023 Budget submission and 2022 Federal Election platform (both detailed and brief versions) outline how, with practical, low cost investment and reasonable changes in policy, the delivery of eye health can be enhanced through the effective utilisation of our highly skilled workforce. Importantly, we are advocating for optometrists to work to their full and evolving scope of practice.
