Learning Objectives

  • List the clinical criteria that should be considered when prescribing a mini-scleral contact lens for a patient who has undergone a keratoplasty or when evaluating the fit of a mini-scleral contact lens on a corneal graft.

  • Explain the steps that should be taken to further investigate any disparity between visual field and optic nerve appearance or a lack of documented progresssion in a glaucoma patient.
  • Understand the epidemiology, aetiology, complications of myopia and the relative efficacy of each intervention to slow the progresson of the condition in children.
