  • Gain a better understanding of the new IOL technology available for cataract patients requesting distance correction
  • Gain a better understanding of the new IOL technology available for cataract patients requesting presbyopia correction
  • To enhance attendees’ ability to identify and interpret abnormalities on macular OCT
  • To improve recognition of subretinal vs retinal vascular causes of OCT abnormalities
  • To revise the clinical definitions of early, intermediate and late AMD
  • To examine images of newer descriptors of AMD such as reticular pseudodrusen, iRORA and cRORA
  • To examine the use of OCTA in AMD cases
  • To discuss the genetic basis for AMD
  • A comprehensive overview of strabismus will be given with the aim of helping the Optometrist identify key strabismus presentations as well as aid in the assessment of strabismus, and avoid common pitfalls.
  • Understand what materials IOLs are made from and when different IOL designs are used
  • Understand pros and cons of currently available IOL
  • How to recognise recurrent corneal erosion syndrome
  • First and subsequent line therapy
