  • Understand that a different approaches should be taken for slow vs fast progression
  • Appreciate that rates of progression can be identified on visual fields as well as OCT nerve fibre layer and ganglion cell layer and that they don't always occur concurrently
  • Evaluate recent advances in our understanding of risk factors for glaucoma
  • Identify recent advances in diagnostic technology and how they might be applied
  • Learn of new approaches to glaucoma therapy and neuroprotection
  • Evaluate clinical glaucoma cases using all available information
  • Determine what approaches are required depending on the type and severity of disease
