Learning Objectives

  • Analyse and explore the correct techniques involved in Ortho-K fitting.
  • Troubleshoot and address common problems which can arise from Ortho-K lenses
  • discuss any therapeutic intervention necessary when fitting an RGP contact lens.
  • Distinguish between similar symptoms in red eyes.
  • Identify and triage red flags in red eye presentations
  • Discuss the therapeutic management of Microbial Keratitis, Marginal Keratitis, Herpes Simplex Keratitis
  • Understand and be able to interpret Topography scans
  • Distinguish between Keratoconus and Pellucid Marginal Degeneration
  • Discuss the therapeutic management of adverse events when treating corneal ectasias.
