Learning Objectives

  • have an increased knowledge and greater confidence in ocular imaging performed in the eye care sector via high calibre presentations and interactive Masterclasses.
  • be more competent in OCT/OCT-A via an interactive workshop focused on interpreting imaging results from the CIRRUS 6000 OCT device whilst discovering the intricacies of OCT and OCT-A scans to enhance the ability to analyse images with confidence by learning to identify common pathologies and understand the significance of various imaging features, providing the skills to interpret OCT results accurately and make informed clinical diagnoses.
  • be upskilled in the use of the Optos ultrawidefield photography machine and its other modalities via an informative, interactive masterclass on the significance of comprehensive peripheral ocular imaging in maintaining optimal eye health as well as have an increased awareness about the cutting- edge optomap technology and advancements that enable early detection and treatment of various ocular conditions.
  • become more familiar with the use of the newly released Heidelberg Engineering Anterion via interactive discussions surrounding biometry related data moving on to understanding why the Anterion can help not only improve results on difficult eyes but also help understand what has caused any refractive surprises.
