- Understand patient motivation for blepharoplasty and be able to counsel appropriately for referral
- Understand asymmetry in eye presentation and how to clearly record progression of ptosis.
- Know how to refer to a suitable oculoplastics surgeon with co-ordinated care addressed where there are compound eye issues (eg. cataract).
- Be familiar with Medical Board Guidelines to protect patients pursuing urgent blepharoplasty treatment.
