Brisbane Eye Clinic CPD 2026 Block 1 : This educational event targets glaucoma and its connection to neuro ophthalmology through a different prism, reviews common causes of uncertainty, applies logic to navigate differential diagnosis, promotes easy lifestyle interventions to delay glaucomatous progression and deploys a workshop format to revise the use of simple desktop tools.
There will be 3 presentations; 1 x 10 Min Breaking News Audit report and 3 workshop stations for small group rotations.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the role of hard data, experience and ocular anatomy on diagnostic certainty when managing difficult cases
- Understand how small changes to daily habits in genetically predisposed individuals can assist to change the course of disease progression
- Discuss importance of matching surgical case selection to clinical needs and how common complications are managed
- Discuss three different case studies in small groups
