Over the past few years, throughout her clinics, Melbourne retinal specialist Dr Christolyn Raj has seen an undoubted increase in the number of patients presenting for cataract surgery with co-existing diabetic eye disease. In this article, Dr Raj discusses a step-by-step, evidence-based pre-operative protocol that can help patients with diabetes obtain the best possible results from cataract surgery.
