- Know and be able to implement the immediate optometric management of a penetrating eye injury
- Know what medications to prescribe post corneal foreign body removal
- Understand the management of complications post corneal foreign body removal
- Be able to safely remove a corneal foreign body
- Understand the different methods of corneal foreign body removal and the equipment used
