- Relate the importance of corneal blindness
- Understand the impact of keratoconus
- Have knowledge of the indication for corneal cross-linking ie progression in keratoconus
- Understand the role of the Save Sight Registries in understanding disease natural history and reporting outcomes data, particularly in corneal cross-linking for keratoconus
- Have knowledge of resources able to provide information on ocular stem cell therapies
- Understand research priorities in corneal infection (keratitis)
- Educate patients on the need for strict contact lens hygiene
- Educate patients on the need for eye protection
- Recognise that Aromatase inhibitor therapy for breast cancer may produce dry eye
