Obtaining a USI
If you do not already have a USI, (check your member portal to see if we have your USI on file). We suggest that you acquire your USI, following the steps below and send it to us at office.vicsa@optometry.org.au. We would then store it in our secure database, ready for any training you are taking with us. You will continue to use your USI for any future nationally recognised training you undertake.
The Australian Government introduced the Unique Student Identifier (USI). From 1st January 2015, students undertaking nationally recognised training need to provide their USI to their registered training provider before they can receive their training records and result. As a Registered Training Organisation, our CPR Training Provider is obligated to collect this data prior to issuing a certificate.
