Activity Outline
The event will include presentations from three doctors; Dr Tian, Dr Groeneveld & Dr Toalster. The evening will also include an interactive quiz session and interactive trivia session.
Learning Objectives
- To identify the common types of glaucoma - primary open angle glaucoma, primary narrow angle glaucoma, normal tension glaucoma. To understand the role of laser in the management of glaucoma and the indication and limitation of MIGS in the management of mild-moderate glaucoma. Plus, gain understanding of collaborative glaucoma care management plan.
- How to identify and prevent proliferative diabetic retinopathy, understand the pace of progression, impact and the degree of urgency.
- To recognise and manage a range of urgent presentations in optometric practice.
