Dr Catriona Downie:  Oculoplastic: Common presentations and red flags

Dr Downie will Identify common eyelid lesions, recognise high risk features of conjunctival and periocular lesions and develop understanding of eyelid malpositions which require referral

Dr Katherine Masselos:  Glaucoma Surgery: Who, what, when…..

Dr Masselos' talk will focus on to understand the indications for lens extraction in angle closure disease, to appreciate a fast glaucoma progressor and the surgical intervention that may be required and to appreciate the benefits of MIGS surgery in mild glaucoma 

Dr Derek Chan: OCT from interpretation to diagnosis

Dr Chan's talk is to understand OCT artefacts, identify OCT findings in vascular disease and identify OCT findings in macular disease.

Dr Gaurav Bhardwaj: Ocular trauma and anterior segment reconstruction

Dr Bhardwaj's talk is to learn how to classify ocular trauma, outline the initial investigation and management of patients with suspected open globe injuries and learn about modern approaches to anterior segment reconstruction

Dr Stephen Hing: “ Ten tips for Examining Children”

Dr Hing’s talk will focus on to understand how to distract a child and be able to examine a child to get relevant information, to understand what's important and to prioritise and to  understand the critical behaviours of a child which may indicate problems with vision

Dr John Downie: Macular Hole and Lamellar Hole

Dr Downie talk's will review the anatomy of the vitreomacular interface, the central macula and the aetiology of surgical macular conditions including vitreomacular traction and macular hole, including Review diagnosis and imaging of full thickness macular holes, review the entity of lamellar macular hole, OCT imaging features and natural history.  Review surgical management of full thickness macular hole and lamellar macular hole
