Adam Forrest

Adam is a career community pharmacist practicing in Christies Beach and is currently Vice President of PSA’s SA/NT Branch Committee, with a variety of other project, research and committee roles. Adam also teaches in Pharmacy Practice courses at the University of South Australia.

Adam has a passion for improving the pharmacy profession through targeted incremental practice change that delivers real daily benefits to patient care, including supporting early career pharmacists to reach their full potential. Adam values working closely with other health professionals, believing that collaboration is often the biggest missed-opportunity in achieving the best outcomes for patients.

Sam spent his first two years of practice in remote Western Australia and also has experience working in regional public ophthalmology settings. He also has a teaching position at Flinders University and works at a contact lens special-interest practice in Adelaide. Outside clinical practice, Sam is the co-founder of OptomRx, a therapeutic prescription writing software for optometrists.
