- To understand how to use OCT imagining in the diagnosis of papilloedema. To distinguish between what’s normal and abnormal in anomalous discs. To appreciate relevant investigations that can be carried out in the optometric setting.
- To better understand refractive suitability when there is coexistent ocular disease.
- To understand how neuroadaptations play a role in the success of implantation of trifocal, multifocal and extended depth of field (EDOF) IOLs. To appreciate the environmental factors that play a role in neurogenesis.
