Learning Objectives

  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to give an account of multi-modal imaging use in the assessment of medical conditions including retinal angiomatous retinal lesions and acute macula neuroretinopathy.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to describe the indications for using indocyanine green (ICG) imaging.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to list the rationale for using MIGS in glaucoma management and list MIGS devices currently available for use in Australia.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to list the surgical techniques for correcting presbyopia and the issues that influence the surgical outcome.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to give a full account of pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PXFS) including its history, clinical manifestations, systemic associations and impact on treatment outcomes including medication and surgery.
