Dr Michael Forrest will host an educational evening covering the following topics: Intermittent Exotropia and Swollen Discs.
Learning Objectives
- Develop an understanding of the different approaches to treatment of intermittent exotropia
- Learn the causes and symptoms of intermittent exotropia
- Understand the indications for surgery
- Learn how to collaboratively manage intermittent exotropia
- Confidently identify disc swelling and what to do once they have been identified
- Learn the associated symptoms requiring urgent referral and the differential diagnosis that swollen discs may represent
- Better understand the role OCT plays in the diagnosis of swollen discs
