Learning Objectives

  • At the completion of the CPD activity the participants should be able to - manage more types of dry eye syndromes, more successfully treat Viral conjunctivitis & know more about Neovascular AMD and the treatment.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity the participants should be able to - better diagnose and manage Herpes Zoster, understand the various ways it can present, learn what factors can worsen the prognosis, achieve a greater awareness of how serious Herpes Zoster is & the treatments available. Vaccinations - latest reports & information.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity the participants should be able to - define visual obscurations - the symptoms, the features, the causes. Know the urgency of the diagnoses and treatment of Giant Cell Arteritis & understand Transient visual loss - causes , diagnoses & outcomes.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity the participants should be able to - identify different lesions in the far periphery, analyse differential diagnoses of peripheral retinal lesions & know the management of important peripheral retinal lesions.
