- Understand the standards solutions need to meet and the difference between MPDS and MPS
- Understand that preservative uptake by a contact lens can reduce disinfection efficacy of a solution and induce corneal staining
- Recognise the differences between Opti-free Puremoist and other MPS in terms of disinfection efficacy, solution uptake, biocompatibility and comfort
- Be aware of the modifiable patient compliance related behaviours associated with contact lens related microbial keratitis
- Understand the importance of educating on contact lens care and solutions to encourage patient adherence
