  • identify ocular issues that should be addressed prior to cataract surgery, and explain to the patient why
  • explain to a patient the different IOL choices available and why IOL choice is based on both expectations and anatomical suitability
  • describe a modern stepwise treatment approach to glaucoma
  • have increased confidence in explaining current treatment approaches for diabetic macular oedema
  • knowing what to look for in epiretinal membrane patients, and when to refer on
  • deciding when more than drops are required for your dry eye patients
  • when to recommend a patient for an MRI
