Activity Outline

The evening will be a series of interactive case discussions, including neuro-ophthalmic , cornea, retina cases with participants learning tips & tricks for diagnosing complex conditions. The discussions will be followed with dinner in the Woodlands Bistro, catered by The Chef & his Wife where the participants can have discussions with many Gordon Eye Surgery ophthamologists.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe OCT findings of disc drusen
  • Discuss the relevance of PHOMS on OCT
  • Discuss the diagnostic steps in assessing potential papilledema
  • Describe tips and tricks for corneal examination
  • Describe various corneal signs and their associations
  • Discuss the indications for corneal transplants
  • Discuss tips and tricks for describing retinal changes
  • Discuss how to manage independence in the elderly and optimise vision
