Activity Outline
These optometry night sessions are aimed at educating our local optometrists in both the diagnostic and management challenges for conditions of the retina, with an emphasis on Myopic Choroidal Neovascularization. Findings from current clinical trials will also be discussed.

Learning Objectives
- To update attendees on prevalence and pathophysiology of myopic choroidal neovascularization
- To identify symptoms and signs of surgical retinal cases including epiretinal membrane, macular hole and retinal detachment
- To improve understanding of complications and management of high myopia
- To improve understanding of post operative complications of cataract surgery in myopic patients
- To identify signs and symptoms of pathological myopia
- To improve interpretation of OCT and OCT angiography in macular disorders
