Activity Outline

Myopia management is now recognised as a global standard of care, with soft contact lenses playing a central role in slowing progression and improving children’s vision and quality of life. This scientific article reviews the latest trends, evidence and clinical insights on using soft contact lenses for myopia control. It highlights advances such as RingBoost™ optical technology and silicone hydrogel materials that enhance comfort, safety and efficacy. Early intervention, adherence and lifestyle factors, particularly outdoor time, remain critical to success. Tailoring management based on risk, visual needs and patient motivation is key, with soft contact lenses being a compelling option.

Please note that Assessment Questions (10 MCQs) are included within this module and have been factored into the overall time estimated for users to complete the e-Learning course.
