Learning Objectives

  • Confidently identify AMD, DMO, and CMO secondary to RVO on OCT
  • Develop a differential for macular pathology as seen on OCT
  • Identify signs on OCT which may suggest another cause of macular pathology other than AMD and DMO
  • Understand causes and treatments of patients developing Diplopia post cataract surgery
  • Develop a better understanding of assessment of the post-surgical socket in relation to enucleation with implant versus evisceration
  • Develop a better understanding of assessment of the causes of discomfort and discharge and how these issues are treated
  • Develop a better understanding of the psychological issues that patients have with their seeing eye and concerns about the cosmoses of the prosthesis
