Are you looking to enhance your expertise in mini-scleral lens fitting, join Shonit Jagmohan from Vision Camberwell and Scott Panozza lead of contact lens services at the ACO for a hands-on workshop on mini-scleral lens fitting. Gain a strong foundation in patient selection, corneal assessment, and lens fitting techniques. Learn to troubleshoot common fitting issues, adjust lens parameters, and manage complications. Through demonstrations and hands-on practical session, refine your skills in lens application, removal, and evaluation.
Learning Objectives
- Understand fundamentals of mini-scleral lens fitting such as patient suitability and corneal assessment.
- Develop Competency in Scleral Lens Fitting and Assessment including initial lens selection and lens evaluation
- Enhance patient care by learning the best practice approach to patient education, maintenance, and follow-up.
- Troubleshooting the fitting of mini-scleral contact lenses
- How to modify key lens parameters to improve the lens fit and overcome common fitting issues
- Develop effective management strategies for common scleral lens complications, optimizing patient comfort and vision through case-based discussions.
- Develop proficiency in corneal assessment to guide appropriate initial lens selection.
