Learning Objectives

  • To develop an approach for assessment and investigation of epiphora
  • Have knowledge of and understanding of the treatment options for the different causes of epiphora
  • To identify ocular findings that may herald an underlying life-threatening condition.
  • To be familiar with the ocular findings in systemic disease
  • To diagnose keratoconus and detect progression
  • To understand the principals of managing keratoconus including corneal collagen cross linking
  • Identify red flags for ocular conditions mimicking glaucoma, including but not limited to compressive space occupying intra-cranial lesions, stroke, retinal vein occlusion, disc drusen.
  • Understand the key clinical OCT and visual field characteristics of conditions mimicking glaucoma
