Learning Objectives
- To understand the general, ocular and visual signs and symptoms of commonly presenting neurodegenerative disease, particularly Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis
- To develop a sequential examination process facilitating the identification of history issues which suggest the possibility of neurodegenerative disease; to diagnose or rule out ocular health and visual conditions commonly associated with these neurodegenerative conditions; as well as to be aware of options for managing these ocular and visual issues
- To understand current scientific publications on the role OCT in the assessment of patients with possible or confirmed neurodegenerative diseases
