Activity Outline

Join us for an immersive evening covering discussion across 4 broad topics

1. Pterygium is a common condition that optometrists come across here on the Gold Coast.   We will discuss the patient benefits of surgical techniques employed by our surgical team as well as postoperative management with topical therapies in the post operative period.

2. When surgically correcting droopy lids it is important that the cause (s) of the droop are identified and corrected surgically.

3. We will also cover malignant ocular lesions including retinal and choroidal lesions and how to distinguish them from benign naevi.

4. Finally we will discuss the new and emerging treatments for dry AMD, availability of genetic testing for glaucoma, new EDOF and multifocal IOLs .

Spots are limited due to event capacity,  so RSVP Jennie on opmanrpc@outlook.com to secure your place!
