Activity Outline

This educational event with start from 10am to 2pm with lunch service during the conference to attendees. The presenter will be an ophthalmologist, Dr Peter Kim who will give lectures and various presentations including case studies and lectures. There will be multiple choice questions and case discussions to stimulate learning and interaction.

Learning Objectives

  • To discuss cataract surgery outcomes in patients with ocular co-morbidities especially retinal disorders and glaucoma.
  • To discuss recent advances in cataract surgery (premium IOLs) and their practical applications.
  • Discuss of interesting cases referred by optometrists.
  • Review recent advances in corneal surgery including keratoconus, corneal transplantation, collagen cross-linking and pterygium surgery.
  • Discuss ocular trauma presentation and their management.
  • To discuss the presentation, diagnosis, investigation and management of common and important corneal disorders.
