Learning Objectives
- Interpret OCT with greater accuracy in glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology
- Be able to identify spurious OCT findings and avoid under and over diagnoses
- Be aware of ways to differentiate true from pseudo optic nerve swelling
- Recognise variants and Differentials of AMD
- Manage retinal bleeds
- Discuss pigmented conjunctival lesions, determine which have malignant potential, and what the treatment for these entail
- Discuss uncommon corneal conditions, peripheral hypertrophic subepithelial corneal degeneration, and its implication for cataract surgery
- Understand the pathophysiology and clinical progression of geographic atrophy , a late stage form of dry ARMD
- Describe the mechanism of action, clinical efficacy and safety profile of Syfovre in the treatment of GA
