Activity Outline
This CPD event will be an interactive and didactive face-to-face educational evening. Dr Michael Karpa will be delivering lectures about dry eye disease/dry eye syndrome, pachychoroid disease spectrum and glaucoma. The topics that will be covered are the pathophysiology and treatment options for dry eyes, MIGS (hydrus), MIGS+ (Xengel & Preserflo) incisional surgeries (trabeculectromy, baerveldt) and pachychoroid disease spectrum. This interactive session will be based on clinical scenarios and open discussion.
This event will be held by Best Practice Eyecare and sponsored by Bausch & Lomb. It will be held at Maroochy RSL, Maroochydore Sunshine Coast on the 26th February 2025 from 5:30pm - 9pm (Education: 6-9pm).
Welcome drinks and a three-course dinner will be provided. In addition, this function will also provide networking opportunities and a chance for optometrists to obtain CPD Hours.
Our keynote speaker is Dr Michael Karpa our Ophthalmologist.
