- Describe emerging retinal therapies — including retinal implants, extended-interval anti-VEGF dosing, and gene therapy — and their implications for patient counselling
- Recognise an emerging gas-free, position-free approach to macular hole surgery and its potential impact on patient recovery
- Identify key clinical red flags that warrant urgent versus routine referral to a vitreoretinal surgeon
- Recognise common signs of orbital and eyelid disease.
- Identify red flags that require further investigation or referral.
- Recognise thyroid eye disease and understand when specialist assessment is needed.
- Understand this new surgical technique for treating convergence insufficiency
- Be able to identify patients that would be suitable for this procedure
- *Evaluate the clinical outcomes of Corneal Allogenic Intrastromal Ring Segment (CAIRS) implantation
- *Identify patient and corneal characteristics associated with favourable or less favourable outcomes
- *Review the safety profile and complication rates of CAIRS
