Activity Outline
We will have Dr Kehdi and Dr Phan each presenting two lectures to attendees in areas of their respected sub-specialty. The night will be split into two sections, each containing one lecture from each Doctor. Presentations will be followed by short multiple choice questions with time for discussions among peers at the end of each lecture.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the types of patientswho are best suitable for minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and understand what types of complications can arise with minimally invasive glaucoma surgery both during the surgery and post operation.
- Discuss the risk and benefits behind both Eylea 8mg and Vabysmo, as well as understnand the science and mechanism behind these new emerging retinal treatments.
- Discuss the multiple types of management for intermittent exotropia, both invasive and non-invasive. Also, understand the expectations of IXT post different types of management styles.
- Discuss available techniques and instruments involving cataract Surgery. Obtain a better understanding of complications and how to prepare for them during examination and surgical planning.
