  • Outline the epidemiology of epiretinal membranes.
  • Outline the current theories regarding how epiretinal membranes arise.
  • Identify which patients might benefit from epiretinal membrane peeling surgery.
  • Differentiate causes of lacrimal/tear function disturbance.
  • Understand the anatomy of tear production and drainage.
  • Attempt lacrimal lavage/syringing.
