PersonalEYES Deakin ACT invites you to an Optometry CPD night at The Boat House Canberra for an update on the latest technology and studies in Ophthalmology.
Learning Objectives
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to acknowledge the role of genetics in glaucoma and it's influence on glaucoma treatment options and progression control.
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to assess the cornea for dry eyes and understand it's affects in planning successful cataract surgery.
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to effectively co-manage uveitis and identify when there is a need to on refer to an Ophthalmologist.
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the range of topical drops available to treat glaucoma and recognise the need for further intervention (laser/MiGs/surgery) to an Ophthalmologist
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to diagnose geographic atrophy and co-manage progression with an Ophthalmologist
