Learning Objectives

  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to recognise what conditions may warrant urgent same day referral
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to recognise the signs of narrow anterior chamber angles and the appropriate treatments.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of herpetic keratitis
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to treat or arrange appropriate referral for herpetic keratitis
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to recognise contraindications for topical steroid use
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to identify signs of corneal perforation and commence appropriate treatment and referral
