Learning Objectives

• Gain an understanding on and become more familiar whether the temperature of artificial tear supplements affects comfort levels
• Become more familiar with the therapeutic medication management of Dry Eye Disease via recommendations made in the TFOS DEWS II Report
• Become more familiar with the diagnosis, classification and options of therapy relating to Dry Eye Disease
• Become more familiar with the use of Nova Tears in the therapeutic medication management of Meibomian gland dysfunction and associated Dry Eye Disease and how this may impact on the prescribing of other treatment options and/or topical therapeutic agents
• Become more familiar with the clinical use of topical Immunomodulators for Dry Eye Disease 
• Become more familiar with the therapeutic medication management (both topical and oral) of herpes-related keratitis via protocols recommended in both HEDS I and HEDS II
• Become more familiar with the therapeutic medication management of blepharitis and the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of eyelid cleansing treatments/agents in the management of this condition
• Become more familiar with the association between Dry Eye Disease and other systemic/autoimmune conditions, the tests used in the work-up of and management options (both therapeutic medication and other alternatives) for these conditions
• Become more familiar with the use of low dose atropine as a topical therapeutic medication management option in the management of progressive myopia
• Be updated on contact lens prescribing trends throughout 2018 and comparison to past trends
