- • Understand common eye conditions & their impact on vision.
- • Understand impact of vision loss on daily living activities and supportive strategies.
- • Understand how adaptive technology can assist people with vision loss to complete daily tasks safely and more efficiently, and how to access information more easily.
- • Enhance understanding of the impact of vision loss, and how modifications can greatly impact your patient’s functional vision - through experiencing our ‘See Like Me’ virtual reality technology which simulates major eye conditions through immersive technology.
- • Understand the impact of vision loss on moving around safely and independently in the home and around the community.
- • Learn how to correctly greet and guide people who are blind or have low vision.
- • Identify when, why and how to refer your patients to Vision Australia’s specialist services, to support them to be able to live the life they choose.
