Learning Objectives
- To gain increased knowledge around options for refractive surgery
- To become aware of advances in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery that may be offered at the time of cataract surgery
- To be introduced to implantable collamer lens surgery and the type of patients who may be appropriate for it.
- Managing difficult diabetic patients
- Latest trials on diabetic maculopathy and retinopathy management
- Update on latest uveitis trials
- Demonstrate an awareness of the different types of ptosis and their etiology
- Be able to identify and recognise severe and life-threatening ptosis
- Gain an understanding in the management of different types of upper eyelid blepharoptosis
