4th and 5th year QUT optometry students are invited to join ECOQNT and QOSS for the Optometry Australia Careers Panel! The evening will consist of a professional services talk from OA Help Desk advisor Katherine Whittaker about workplace rights and career support. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring a range of early career optometrists working in a diverse variety of settings – from independent practice, to outreach, to ophthalmology settings, research, health promotion and more! Come and hear about what’s on offer for life after graduation; our ECOs are here to answer all your questions.
Program outline:
6:15pm – 6:30pm Registration and light refreshments
6:30pm – 6:45pm OA welcome and Professional Services
6:45pm – 7:30pm Presentation and panel discussion
