Retinal emergencies during COVID and other tales
Free to OV/SA Members
Optometry Victoria South Australia presents the next Regional Seminar Series: Retinal emergencies during COVID and other tales on Monday 26 July 2021 online via ZOOM.
Surgery was cancelled and the Ring of Steel established between metropolitan Melbourne and regional rural Victoria often prevented patients from seeking ophthalmological consultation. In this context, teleconferencing emerged as a viable alternative in many instances.
- To discuss the differences between emergency and urgency.
- To recognise retinal emergencies and appropriately triage and refer.
- To use new imaging technologies to recognise change.
